Unless otherwise noted, the County’s water use restrictions apply to all properties in unincorporated Hillsborough County and all water sources except reclaimed water.
The watering restriction takes effect Jan. 4, 2021 and ends Dec. 31, 2022.

Last week we performed a small landscape enhancement in the new Encore subdivision in Fishhawk. The customer wanted something that was nice to look at and create a little privacy while not obstructing the view out back. Took his requests and put together a custom landscape plan. The estimate was approved and a few days later his yard was transformed! Check out the landscape project below!
Here is the before picture of the project. First thing is we marked out the […]

After testing the electrical current at the sprinkler valves we determined that the wires had been cut when we didn’t get a reading. So we hooked up a wire tracker and within a few minutes found where the wires had been cut. Sliced the wires together and got power back to the three valves!
Check out the before and after in this photo!
The leaves are falling by the bagful it seems this time of year. If your lawn company isn’t bagging them and just blowing them all into the beds you should give us a call!
One of our lawn care customers lawns in Valrico. Love how tight the lines are on the lawn and landscape!

An easy way to clean up the look of your landscape is to give your palms a good trimming. These two palms were a little overdue for a trimming but this is a great example to show the difference trimming can make! All seed pods should have been removed by your lawn care providers by this point in the season. If they have not you might want to address that with your current provider. If you would like a quote […]
We are often asked by our lawn care customers if there are any advantages to changing existing 4 inch sprinkler heads to 6 inch sprinkler heads. So we thought we would take a moment and explain the advantages of making the changes to your sprinkler system.
The majority of the lawns we service in Valrico and Fishhawk are St Augustine grass. This grass is cut between 4 to 5 inches in height. It is pretty obvious that the 4 inch heads would have a […]
These corkscrew crotons are beautiful and a great way to add some color to your landscape beds. They are very easy to maintain and require little upkeep. Just remember to cover if there is a freeze, which I don’t think we will have to worry about anymore!
If you are a LawnGuru monthly maintenance customer you will notice the guys are out trimming the Crape Myrtles in your lawn this week. By trimming them you will encourage new growth and maintain the height of your trees. You do not have to trim them but it is something that is suggested. If you are a do it yourselfer this is how you want them to look once trimmed.

Another beautiful landscape installation in Brandon. This customer put together the path and we filled in the plants and mulch. The flax lily really makes the paver path stand out.
Another beautiful landscape installed for a lawn care customer in Valrico. The grass is called “Bitterblue” St Augustine. It is so lush and green!
Azalea’s are in full bloom everywhere and are a delight to see! This is a picture from one of our lawn maintenance customers homes in Brandon. These bushes do really well in a shady area with high acidity. Areas with lots of oak tree canopy make excellent areas to grow beautiful bushes.
One of our commercial property maintenance customers had the face plate stolen off their sprinkler timer. We replaced with a new Hunter outdoor timer. Will post a picture of the new unit next time we visit the property.
